Governance of the Cuban Association

The Cuban Association of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta is governed by a Governing Council comprised of the High Charges (the President, Vice President, Secretary General, Hospitaller, and Treasurer), Councilors, and the Head Chaplain. The High Charges and the Councilors are elected at the Association’s Chapter General (annual meeting) for a period of three years. The Head Chaplain is elected by the group of Chaplains. The day-to-day affairs of the Association are managed by the High Officers and other officers of the Association who are appointed by the Governing Council.
